Cobra Overkill occupies one of the most unsettling corners of G.I. Joe lore — part human, part Battle Android Trooper, and entirely dangerous. He began as an experimental prototype melding a B.A.T. unit with a human host, a Cobra trooper who ran afoul of a war game training exercise gone catastrophically wrong. With more than fifty percent of his body now replaced by mechanical parts, integral body armor, image-intensifying vision, and a targeting computer hard-wired between his right eye and trigger finger, Overkill now commands an entire battalion of android troopers as their leader. Series #201 marks his first modern-era 6-inch debut in the Classified Series, and Hasbro has leaned fully into the cyborg identity with a sculpt blending organic and mechanical elements, neon green armored vest, bronzed cybernetic plating, and red joint detailing that reads as genuinely menacing on the shelf.
The accessory loadout is sharp and thematically rich. The blaster is the standout piece — a chunky, two-handed heavy weapon built for intimidating display poses. The neural scrambler with its wrist attachment directly references Overkill's command authority over the B.A.T. units, while the interchangeable golden claw hand and magenta plasma-blade hand give you distinct posing options that lean into the cyborg narrative. Two head options — an unmasked cyborg face and a golden full-face mask with red visor — round out the display flexibility.
